Bioflow Inc. was founded in 2020 by Dr. John Moon, an Emory Interventional Radiology Resident-Physician. Since then, Bioflow has designed and patented a novel drainage catheter that prevents catheter occlusion and its associated complications including clinical infection in patients. This new design has the potential to change the paradigm of modern treatment by preventing emergent hospital admissions and repeat interventions. Currently, Bioflow is in the advanced prototyping phase and is seeking funding for next stage testing and pre-clinical evaluation.
