Beantown Bedding, the enterprising startup that introduced innovative Laundry-Free Linens®, is searching for a Business Development Lead in the Boston area. This individual will work directly with the company’s founders and sales team to develop business among short-term rental, hospitality and new markets. As a Beantown Bedding team member, initially in a contractor role, he or she will enjoy variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute at a high level. Beantown Bedding provides product samples, training, and generous compensation, including base, uncapped commission and equity. First year earning potential in this role is $100K. The Bus Dev Lead has flexibility to work remotely or from the MassChallenge co-working space in the Innovation and Design Center, South Boston. What You Need to Succeed • Proven results as a hunter in a startup environment • 2-4 years of B2B sales experience • Comfortable selling to executive level • Track record of quota attainment and exceeding sales revenue goals • Professional written and oral communication skills and exceptional organizational skills • Familiarity with Hubspot • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) • Energized by being part of a dynamic team and building a game-changing company • Open to 10% travel, primarily regional • Self starter
