Job Title:
VP Engineering (Co-Founding Engineer)

Company Overview:
ListAcross is a channel management SAAS platform for peer-to-peer marketplaces looking for a highly experienced and driven to help us build and scale our platform.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the ongoing development of our SAAS platform from the ground up, taking ownership of the technical roadmap and executing on it – we are looking for someone tactical and strategic who can build today and lead a team of builders tomorrow.
• Develop and maintain the back-end infrastructure using Python, Django, Go, Node.js, and other relevant technologies.
• Develop and maintain the front-end infrastructure using React and React Native.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs that can scale and integrate with various e-commerce platforms.
• Implement DevOps best practices to ensure platform uptime, security, and scalability.
• Manage and lead technical operations, providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and leverage them to continuously improve our platform

Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Python, Django, JavaScript, Express.js, Go, Node.js, RESTful API Design, node.js, React, and React Native.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience, including AWS, EC2, S3, RDS, Nginx, automation libraries, X11, Linux, Ubuntu.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, including road-mapping, cataloguing user feedback, and rapid iteration and prototyping.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (including jQuery), and proficiency with HTML and CSS.
• Strong experience with Puppeteer, Selenium, and Selendroid is a plus.
• Facilty with peer-to-peer marketplaces (eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, etc.) is a must.
• Experience with eCommerce and Retail platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Deep understanding of API and non-API integrations is a must.

Desired Skills:
• Experience with generative AI tools, LLMs, and AI integrations.
• Experience with scalable architecture design and implementation.
• Knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.

Compensation:
• This role is co-founder level. Compensation will be pure equity commensurate with experience. Upon the achievement of certain revenue milestones or upon raising our next round, salary will be commensurate with experience (and you will likely be the highest paid employee at the company). If you can make this a huge success, you will see tremendous upside; the role is truly sink or swim. Fortunately for you, we have already been through a prestigious accelerator and raised a round of financing, so we already have a product in beta and a 40,000 user waitlist, both of which de-risk this opportunity for an incoming Co-Founder.

THE ROLE
We have an immediate opening for a Co-Founder to help build on the strong foundation of our current product and oversee future builds. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and tactical; someone who can get her/his hands dirty, build out our product, and also delegate and roadmap effectively based on user pain points, needs, and wants.

Your job will not only be to build and perfect marketplace integrations, but also to think about and implement creative new ways to automate and optimize seller efficiency. Writing and implementing API contracts is only a part of the journey, since many channels do not have APIs (or lack endpoints for some of our core features).

Your job will be to take the reins of our existing product, build on what has already been built, and shepherd the product through our next round of fundraising and beyond. Speed and execution are critical. Personal accountability, accountability to the team, and ability to work effectively under deadlines are essential.

This role is co-founder level. Compensation will be pure equity. Once we raise our next round, salary will be commensurate with experience (and you will likely be the highest paid employee at the company). If you can make this a huge success, you will see tremendous upside, but the role is truly sink or swim.
