Embedded Software Engineer (f/m) — Digital Signal Processors

Description
proactivaudio is an established Austrian startup with an innovative patented technology for acoustic echo reduction (AER), microphone array processing, and noise reduction. We are looking for a full-time software engineer with experience and passion for software development of audio systems. The main roles are to port and optimize advanced audio processing algorithms in a variety of real-time embedded systems, with microcontrollers and DSP cores from Texas Instruments, Tensilica, Analog Devices and ARM Cortex.

Qualifications
– 3 years of experience in industry or as academic post-graduate.
– Excellent software programming skills in embedded hardware with C/C++.
– Solid knowledge of real-time embedded debugging with hardware (oscilloscopes) and software tools.
– Good knowledge of digital signal processing.

Desired Skills
– Code Composer Studio, VisualDSP++ and/or CrossCore Embedded Studio, or equivalent.
– Working experience with USB and Bluetooth communication standards, in particular with clock synchronization for full-duplex operation.
– Experience with audio CODEC programming, I2S protocol, and Electret and/or MEMS microphones.

Education
Bachelor or (preferably) Master degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
