**This is a full-time temporary position starting September 2026
Associates help healthcare startups, and Technology Transfer staff, as we aim to grow early stage to venture-backed companies. You will have the opportunity to dramatically expand your network and deepen your knowledge of healthcare innovation, as you sit in on meetings, attend educational sessions, and support our start-ups with a variety of needs.
You should be willing to commit to the equivalent of a full-time position. Applicants should be able to jump in and complete any task quickly and effectively. We look for Associates with a wide range of backgrounds, from new grads to mid-career professionals. We expect a great attitude, desire to learn and meet new people, and lots of energy and enthusiasm. You should be scared of no task and be willing to take on any project, large or small.
In the past, we have had people with a wide range of experience participate as Associates, from new graduates to some with significantly more experience, including Associates who hold multiple advanced degrees. Our priority is finding smart, enthusiastic people who are excited about being engaged in various aspects of the program.
Associate applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas will be prioritized:
- Project management

- Social media strategy and content development

General Job Description
This role is responsible for a variety of administrative duties and operational execution for the duration of the accelerator program. Logistics experience as well as familiarity with the early stage venture-backed company ecosystem is preferred but not required. Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required. A willingness to learn and confront new problems is a must. This role is a temporary, full-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities - you may be tasked with any or all of the below:
• Engage with Cedars-Sinai staff, industry mentors, start up founders, and international partners
• Work closely with the team on various projects and needs, ranging from strategic to administrative support
• Coordinate the scheduling of mentors, investors, founders, and others
• Serve as a host for mentors and other external guests
• Provide logistical support for program planning and execution
• Follow best practices and execute upon outlined content and curriculum of the program
• Event planning and support
Qualifications
• 1-3 years in fast-paced project or program management focused position
• Strong interest in the discourse around technology, startups, entrepreneurship, venture capital
• Proven attention to detail through prior work or life experience
• Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities
• Fits the Cedars-Sinai culture (patient-oriented, adaptable, supportive, creative)
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Currently live in Los Angeles, CA or would be willing to live here for the duration of the program.
Note: Wellfound requires the annualized salary range field to be completed, this role is expected to work 40 hours per week and is compensated at $4,000 per month.
