𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗔𝗣𝗧 & 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿

FlickerBytes is looking for a hands-on cybersecurity professional to join our growing team. You will run security assessments independently, manage VAPT assignments, work directly with clients, and contribute to our in-house platforms, Cruxis (Cybersecurity Assessment Platform) and Niyam (Compliance Platform).

Key responsibilities
▪ Manual web application and API penetration testing
▪ VAPT, including OWASP Top 10, IDOR, SQL injection, authentication and access control issues
▪ Network, infrastructure and database security assessments
▪ Controlled red-team exercises and remediation testing
▪ Professional VAPT reports with technical evidence and recommendations
▪ Managing assignments from scoping to closure
▪ Client discussions, technical presentations and product demos
▪ Security and functionality testing of Cruxis and Niyam

Required skills

▪Web and API security testing (REST, JWT, OAuth)
▪OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10
▪Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Nuclei, SQLMap, Wireshark, Kali Linux
▪Network, infrastructure and database security
▪Linux and Windows security fundamentals
▪Basic Python or Bash scripting

An advantage: AWS or Azure security, red teaming, source-code review, OSCP, PNPT or CEH.

What we are looking for
▪3 to 8 years of hands-on VAPT experience on real assessments
▪Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
▪Strong analytical skills and clear communication with clients
▪Ownership and accountability

This role needs demonstrable practical experience. We are not considering candidates with theory-only, certification-only or scanner-only backgrounds.

Position details
▪Location: Remote across India (Hyderabad preferred)
▪Full-time, 5 days a week
▪Compensation: ₹25,000 to ₹45,000 per month, based on skills and experience
▪Joining: Immediate, or up to 15 days notice.
