Shopify Project Manager

We’re looking for a Shopify Project Manager with a strong understanding of Shopify development, e-commerce workflows, and project delivery.

You’ll manage Shopify projects end-to-end, working closely with developers, designers, QA, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

We need someone who understands the technical side of Shopify development, can participate confidently in technical discussions, evaluate estimates, identify blockers, and translate business requirements into clear development tasks.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–3 years of experience managing Shopify, Shopify Plus, or e-commerce development projects.
• Strong understanding of Shopify architecture, themes, Liquid, customizations, apps, and integrations.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of development workflows, Git, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Ability to understand technical requirements, assess feasibility, challenge estimates, and identify risks.
• Strong project planning, communication, client management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Shopify projects from requirements gathering through development, testing, and launch.
• Coordinate developers, designers, QA, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
• Participate in technical discussions, estimation, and solution planning.
• Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers.
• Manage scope changes, client expectations, and project documentation.
• Ensure quality standards and delivery timelines are met.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re not looking for someone who only tracks tasks and timelines. We need someone who understands how Shopify stores are built, can follow technical discussions, question estimates, identify development challenges, and communicate confidently with both developers and clients.
A development background or hands-on experience with Shopify projects is a strong advantage.
