Community & Programs Lead

Job Description

We are looking for a community builder, ecosystem operator, or relationship-driven professional who can build thriving communities, design meaningful programs, and cultivate strong relationships across technical, research, and startup ecosystems.
In this role, you will play a key part in building and growing the QuantumX community, while creating a strong pipeline of talent, contributors, founders, researchers, and strategic collaborators. You will connect people and opportunities, drive ecosystem engagement, and help create programs that foster long-term participation and impact.

What you’ll do

• Build and grow the QuantumX community across students, researchers, developers, founders, and technologists.
• Maintain and continuously develop a pipeline of people who can contribute to the QuantumX ecosystem.
• Design and execute community programs, events, cohorts, workshops, meetups, and hackathons.
• Own the end-to-end flow of community programs, from planning and outreach to execution and follow-up.
• Build relationships with universities, research labs, student communities, quantum groups, incubators, startups, research organisations, and relevant partners.
• Identify and engage high-potential talent, founders, researchers, and ecosystem contributors.
• Develop partnerships and collaborations that strengthen the QuantumX ecosystem.
• Build systems and processes for community growth, engagement, and retention.
• Represent QuantumX at events, universities, conferences, and ecosystem platforms.
• Work closely with Venture, Talent, Research, and Community teams to identify opportunities and connect the right people.
• Track community activities, pipelines, engagement, and outcomes.
• Identify new opportunities to expand the QuantumX community and ecosystem.

Skills Required

• Communication & Public Speaking – Strong verbal and written communication; confident engaging with diverse audiences.
• Community Building –Experience building, managing, and growing communities, especially in technical/startup ecosystems.
• Program & Event Management – Ability to plan and execute meetups, workshops, hackathons, cohorts, and community programs.
• Networking & Relationship Building – Strong outreach and relationship management with universities, researchers, founders, student communities, and organisations.
• Execution & Ownership – Proactive, organised, and comfortable owning initiatives end-to-end in a fast-moving environment.
• Ecosystem Understanding – Interest or experience in startups, deep-tech, quantum, AI, Web3, or emerging technologies.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in community building, community management, ecosystem development, program management, partnerships, or a related role.
• Experience working with universities, student communities, researchers, founders, technology ecosystems, or startups is preferred.
• Experience organising meetups, workshops, hackathons, cohorts, or other community programs is a strong plus.
• Experience in deep-tech, quantum, AI, Web3, startups, or emerging technologies is a plus.
