HelixIntel adds talent for in-office and hybrid roles. This role allows for a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of one day in office per week. Our company is based in Buffalo, NY.

We're hiring for this role at both the mid and senior level. Title and compensation are set based on experience.

What you will do

• Design and develop components of HelixCMMS and future products
• Support the creation of features from zero to production
• Participate in the review of upcoming features for feasibility and sizing
• Contribute to patterns and practices and take on new responsibilities as we grow
• Participate in code reviews since no one works alone
• Triage issues from users
• Participate in a team lunch and in-person meeting one day a week

What you bring

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience or equivalent
• Experience with programming in Python and JavaScript preferred, but we can help with learning the language details if you have been using something else
• Experience with a modern client-side web framework preferred, we use Vue
• Experience with a server-side web framework is preferred, we use Django
• Experience with relational databases preferred, we use PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud platforms preferred, we use AWS
• Experience writing unit tests
• Experience with build & deployment automation, we use CircleCI
• Experience with version control systems, we use Git

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $165,000. The range represents the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is influenced by the work location and other factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
