Logistics Associate

Domestic shipping of devices, SD cards, and accessories between our Bengaluru hub and vendors across
46 pin codes, plus onward movement of device consignments once our forwarder clears them.
Devices go out to vendors; SD cards with recorded footage come back to Bengaluru. A late shipment is
lost collection time, and a lost packet of cards is a data-protection issue. One person runs this today. You
will own the courier network, set a fixed shipping cycle, and lead the two-person team under you.
What you will do
• Own every shipment out (devices, SD cards, chargers, cables) and every SD card return, from
booking to confirmed receipt.
• Build and manage the courier network: carriers, aggregators, same-day and air options. Negotiate
rates, SLAs, and late-evening pickups.
• Hit card turnaround: tier 1 cities to Bengaluru in 24 hours; nothing in transit over 72 hours.
• Run a fixed replenishment and return cycle with the Customer Relationship and Inventory Leads.
• Keep one live tracker: every shipment has an AWB, owner, status, and ETA; exceptions flagged the
same day.
• Set SD card packaging and chain-of-custody rules; run claims for lost or damaged shipments.
• Handle shipping paperwork: delivery challans, e-way bills, transit insurance.
Your first 90 days
• Day 7: every lane, courier, and open shipment mapped.
• Day 30: a primary and backup courier with an SLA on every lane; all shipments in one tracker.
• Day 90: turnaround standard met across all 46 pin codes.
What you will bring
• Has run domestic logistics across many Indian cities, including tier 2 and tier 3, at high daily volume.
• Has negotiated with and managed couriers and aggregators directly.
• Has built shipment tracking and resolved lost or delayed shipments.
• Has led a team. Fluent in English and Hindi.
High agency, attention to detail, clear communication, creative problem-solving.
Preferred experience
Field rollouts of small high-value devices (POS terminals, phones, SIMs); reverse logistics; working with
freight forwarders; regional languages.
