Software Engineer

The company is building AI engineering and infrastructure services focused on AI security, token efficiency and deployment readiness. We are hiring an early engineering team to build a reusable secure AI factory foundation and extend it through customer projects.
Your role
Build and test backend components, integrations and deployment automation with guidance from the senior engineer and architect. Develop reusable capabilities that can be configured for customer projects. Strong software fundamentals and the ability to learn are more important than familiarity with every AI tool.
What you will do
Develop Python APIs, provider connectors and configuration workflows for approved cloud and frontier LLM services.
Implement and test routing rules, timeout handling, retries, fallbacks and provider response normalization under technical guidance.
Write scripts and container configurations to install and validate selected agentic platforms in development and test environments.
Add structured logs, basic metrics and traces for errors, latency, token usage and estimated cost, following safe data-handling practices.
Apply approved authentication, access-control and secrets-management patterns; keep credentials out of code and logs.
Write unit and integration tests, investigate failures, maintain documentation and improve repeatability of deployments.
Use approved AI coding tools where useful, while reviewing generated code, testing behavior and protecting company and customer information.
What you bring
Practical Python programming and backend/API development, demonstrated through work or substantial projects.
Understanding of HTTP, JSON, API authentication, error handling and basic data structures.
Working familiarity with Git, Linux, Docker and software testing; exposure to cloud APIs or services.
Ability to debug systematically, follow code-review feedback and explain your work clearly.
Candidates must be familiar with AI-assisted development (“vibe coding”) tools to accelerate development, troubleshooting and bug fixes, while reviewing and testing generated code for quality and security.
Comfort with remote teamwork, written progress updates and learning unfamiliar tools.
Useful additional experience
LLM API integrations, asynchronous Python, CI/CD, observability dashboards or agentic platform projects. Prior AI-platform experience is welcome but not mandatory. Relevant practical work may demonstrate capability alongside formal education.
What you will help deliver
A tested connector or automation module, a reproducible platform installation, basic operational visibility and clear handover documentation. You will work within the approved architecture and receive regular technical reviews.
