Senior Java Developer

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with hands-on AI experience who can build scalable backend applications and intelligent AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, practical experience using AI tools and developing AI agents, and a product-oriented mindset to solve real-world business problems.

We are looking for someone who goes beyond writing code—someone who understands user needs, thinks critically about product features, and takes ownership of delivering impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate AI-powered features into applications using relevant AI tools, models, APIs, and frameworks.
• Develop AI agents capable of executing tasks, using tools, interacting with APIs, and automating workflows.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI services into backend systems.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply product thinking to identify user pain points, propose improvements, and build solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to improve products through intelligent automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building REST APIs, backend services, and database-driven applications.
• Practical experience with AI tools and frameworks, including LLM integrations.
• Demonstrated experience in developing AI agents or agent-based workflows, including tool calling, API integrations, or task automation.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, LLM APIs, and AI application development.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and system design fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Good to Have

• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools.
• Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and embeddings.
• Experience with Python for AI integrations or automation.
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and microservices architecture.
