About American Circular

American Circular is a seed-stage, AI-native IT asset disposition company in Tampa Bay. When hospitals, banks, and enterprises retire laptops, servers, and data center equipment, we handle it end to end: secure data destruction, a complete digital chain of custody, and maximum value recovery from every device. Our operations run on a proprietary AI platform we are building to license nationally.

Our facility is operational, our R2v3 certification is in process, and a steady stream of refurbished technology is ready for its second life.

Who we are looking for

We are actively seeking people with strong self-determination, real problem-solving ability, and a deep commitment to team success. You take ownership without being asked. When a listing stalls or a post falls flat, you figure out why and fix it. And you care as much about the team hitting its goals as you do about your own work.

The role

This seat owns two things: turning refurbished devices into revenue on the resale marketplaces, and telling the American Circular story on social media. You will photograph, list, price, and ship inventory, and you will create the content that shows the world what responsible technology retirement looks like. You will work directly with leadership and help build both channels from the ground up.

What you will do

E-commerce and resale

• List refurbished laptops, desktops, servers, and components on eBay, Amazon, Back Market, and other marketplaces
• Photograph and test-check devices, write accurate listings, and grade condition consistently
• Research comps and set pricing to maximize recovery value; track sell-through and margin
• Manage orders, buyer messages, returns, and seller ratings
• Pack and ship orders and coordinate with the operations team on inventory flow

Social media

• Shoot and edit short-form video and photos from the facility floor
• Write and publish posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X
• Own the content calendar and keep a consistent, professional brand voice
• Engage with followers and community, and track what is working
• Use AI tools to produce more content, faster, without losing quality

What we are looking for

• 1 to 3 years in e-commerce, marketplace selling, social media, or content creation (strong early-career candidates welcome)
• Hands-on experience selling on eBay, Amazon, or similar marketplaces
• A portfolio or accounts that show you can create content people engage with
• Strong attention to detail with listings, pricing, and inventory
• Comfort with spreadsheets, seller tools, and learning new software quickly
• Self-starter energy and a team-first mindset

Strong plus: experience with refurbished electronics or IT hardware, product photography, video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or similar), or Canva.

Compensation

Base: $50,000 to $60,000

Equity: a small option grant after 90 days
