Content Creator Intern

About the Role:
FOXO is looking for creative and proactive Content Creator Interns to work directly with the company's co-founders to create engaging video content around health, fitness, food, lifestyle, and everyday experiences. The interns will shadow the co-founders, capture their daily activities, identify interesting stories, and turn them into engaging content for platforms such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. This is a hands-on opportunity for aspiring content creators who enjoy shooting videos, editing content, and experimenting with different storytelling formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shoot high-quality short-form videos using a smartphone or camera.
• Work closely with a co-founder to capture daily activities, conversations, routines, and experiences.
• Identify engaging stories and content opportunities from everyday moments.
• Edit videos with appropriate pacing, transitions, subtitles, music, and hooks.
• Create content for social media platforms, including Instagram and YouTube.
• Stay updated on social media trends, content formats, and emerging storytelling techniques.
• Experiment with creative ideas to improve audience engagement and content quality.
• Organise and maintain video footage, project files, and content assets.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute content ideas from concept to publication.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in any discipline.
• Demonstrable interest or experience in video creation, filmmaking, content creation, or digital storytelling.
• Basic video shooting, framing, and editing skills.
• Familiarity with video editing tools such as CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
• Understanding of short-form content formats and social media platforms.
• Strong creative thinking, visual storytelling, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with founders.
• Willingness to learn, experiment, take feedback, and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A portfolio of videos, reels, films, or other creative work.
• Experience creating content for personal social media accounts, college clubs, or brands.
• An interest in health, fitness, nutrition, food, or lifestyle content.
• Familiarity with current social media trends and audience engagement techniques.
