Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to design, build, and support secure, reliable, and high-performing iOS mobile banking applications. The role requires strong native iOS engineering expertise, sound knowledge of digital banking journeys, and the ability to deliver solutions that meet stringent security, privacy, regulatory, and availability expectations.
The developer will collaborate with product owners, architects, UX teams, backend/API teams, cybersecurity, QA, compliance, and operations to deliver customer-facing features such as onboarding, authentication, account servicing, payments, cards, alerts, and service requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS banking applications using Swift and modern Apple development practices.
- Implement secure customer journeys covering onboarding, login, Face ID/Touch ID authentication, account servicing, fund transfers, bill payments, card controls, notifications, and service requests.
- Translate business, UX, security, and regulatory requirements into scalable iOS designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Integrate iOS applications with API gateways, REST/JSON services, identity platforms, payment services, analytics, fraud controls, Apple services, and approved third-party SDKs.
- Apply secure coding practices including Keychain, encryption, certificate pinning, secure storage, session management, jailbreak detection, code hardening, and protection against common mobile threats.
- Build reusable components using MVVM or Clean Architecture, Swift Concurrency, Combine, dependency injection, and modular design.
- Create unit, integration, UI, and automated regression tests using XCTest and XCUITest; support security, accessibility, performance, UAT, and production validation.
- Monitor application performance, crashes, security events, and customer-impacting issues; troubleshoot incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis.
- Participate in code reviews, threat-model discussions, release-readiness reviews, App Store submissions, and controlled production deployments.
- Mentor developers, promote engineering standards, and collaborate within Agile delivery teams.

- Advanced proficiency in Swift, iOS SDK, Xcode, UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, Swift Concurrency, and Cocoa Touch.
- Proven experience developing customer-facing applications in banking, financial services, payments, fintech, or another highly regulated industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, iOS application lifecycle, dependency injection, modularization, SOLID principles, protocol-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, token-based authentication, Face ID/Touch ID, APNs, universal links, analytics, and crash-reporting tools.
- Understanding of iOS banking security controls, including encryption in transit and at rest, Keychain, Secure Enclave, certificate pinning, jailbreak detection, application hardening, App Attest, and OWASP Mobile risks.
- Experience with XCTest, XCUITest, mocking frameworks, and testable design practices.
- Hands-on experience with Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods, Git-based workflows, Fastlane, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of iOS performance, memory management, networking, offline handling, observability, and production troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with iOS accessibility, localization, data privacy, auditability, secure SDLC, code signing, provisioning, and App Store release requirements.
