Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI models and systems that power Anvax’s enterprise intelligence platform in regulated environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing machine learning and neural network architectures, implementing pattern recognition and NLP solutions, and integrating AI components into production-grade software systems. The role involves close collaboration with product, data, and security teams to ensure AI solutions are robust, compliant, auditable, and aligned with customer requirements in sectors such as BFSI and government. The engineer will also contribute to experimentation, evaluation, and monitoring of AI models, ensuring they remain grounded in enterprise data and perform reliably in real-world conditions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including designing, training, and evaluating models for real-world use cases.
• Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, retrieval, conversational AI, or document understanding.
• Proficiency in Software Development, using languages like Python, Java, or similar, and working with modern ML/AI frameworks and tools.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience building and deploying AI systems in production, preferably within regulated or security-conscious environments.
• Familiarity with data privacy, governance, and compliance considerations when working with enterprise data.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and document work thoroughly.
• Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps practices, or scalable data pipelines is an advantage.
