DevOps Solution Architect

About the Role

VistalTech Inc. is looking for an experienced DevOps Solution Architect to support our client's Application Architecture & Reliability (AAR) team.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in DevOps, DevSecOps, application architecture, and GitLab CI/CD, with the ability to bridge application engineering teams and enterprise platform organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement scalable DevOps and DevSecOps application delivery patterns.
• Provide architectural guidance to application development and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with enterprise DevSecOps and platform teams to align application requirements with existing tools, standards, and governance.
• Identify gaps between application needs and enterprise platform capabilities.
• Influence the evolution of DevSecOps capabilities through architectural recommendations.
• Drive adoption of reliable, secure, and efficient application delivery practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in DevOps and DevSecOps solution architecture.
• Deep understanding of application architecture and software engineering practices.
• Hands-on expertise with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD — strongly preferred.
• Experience working with enterprise DevSecOps tools, standards, and governance.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and platform teams.
• Strong architectural problem-solving and technical communication skills.
