The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction professional with strong project management, budgeting, vendor management, and communication skills who can successfully oversee multiple projects while ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project risks, delays, and budget variances.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning requirements, permits, and safety regulations.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize and execute commercial facility improvement projects.

  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure accountability to project expectations.
  • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and payment requests.
  • Manage commercial build-out and renovation vendors to ensure timely project completion.

Budget & Financial Oversight

  • Develop and manage project budgets and construction cost forecasts.
  • Track expenditures and provide regular project status and financial reports.
  • Analyze project costs and identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Assist with capital planning and future development initiatives.
  • Evaluate commercial capital improvement projects and return-on-investment opportunities.
  • Ensure projects align with company investment objectives and financial goals.

Property Transition & Asset Management

  • Coordinate project turnover from construction to ongoing property operations.
  • Lead final walkthroughs, punch list completion, and occupancy readiness activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, warranties, manuals, permits, and records.
  • Support residential leasing readiness and commercial tenant occupancy preparation.
  • Assist with asset preservation strategies and long-term property value enhancement.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
  • Provide regular updates to ownership and senior leadership regarding project status, budgets, and key milestones.
  • Build productive relationships with municipalities, inspectors, contractors, consultants, and community stakeholders.
  • Prepare project reports, schedules, and executive-level summaries.
