About the Role

You will help own and drive the design and development of innovative, user-facing features and AI-driven capabilities at Loamy. Partnering closely with product, design, and domain experts, you’ll build intuitive product experiences, implement robust agentic workflows, and create rigorous evaluation frameworks (evals) to validate model performance. You will play a central role in rapidly delivering impactful features, setting engineering standards, and crafting intelligent, highly reliable AI features for critical supply chain operations.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship full-stack user-facing features and scalable Ruby on Rails backend services powering our core platform.
• Architect and ship end-to-end user-facing AI features powered by complex agentic workflows and multi-step reasoning systems.
• Develop comprehensive AI evaluation frameworks (evals) to measure, benchmark, and continuously improve model quality, reliability, and safety.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to translate user needs into intuitive features and modern full-stack application logic.
• Establish best practices for backend testing, performance optimization, and AI application lifecycle management.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in building web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI features using LLMs, agentic workflows, and orchestration frameworks
• Solid experience building AI evals to systematically test, validate, and monitor model performance and agent behavior
• Proven full-stack feature delivery skills, including API design, user interface integration, relational databases, and asynchronous task processing
• Strong communication skills with a track record of driving complex technical projects end-to-end
• Nice to have: experience in supply chain, logistics, food, or agriculture software
