About the Role
You will own the end-to-end quality assurance strategy at Loamy, leading both automated and manual testing across our web and mobile platforms. You will partner closely with software engineers, product, and support to design robust test suites, maintain automated framework coverage, and ensure high reliability for critical supply chain workflows. You’ll be instrumental in establishing quality standards and testing automation as we scale our software platform.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end test automation suites for web and mobile applications.
• Perform hands-on manual exploratory, regression, functional, and user acceptance testing on desktop and mobile platforms.
• Integrate automated test runs into CI/CD build pipelines to support continuous deployment and rapid delivery cycles.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to review requirements, write detailed test plans, identify edge cases, and define acceptance criteria.
• Triage, document, and track software bugs, collaborating closely with developers to investigate root causes and verify fixes.
• Establish best practices, testing standards, and quality metrics across the engineering organization.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or similar role focusing on web and mobile platforms
• Demonstrated experience building automated test frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or similar)
• Hands-on expertise in manual testing methods, bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Linear), and API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
• Solid understanding of modern software development life cycles, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders
• Nice to have: experience in supply chain, logistics, food, or agriculture software
