Product Management Intern - AI

The role
You'll work directly with the Product Manager on the data and AI side of the platform: Ask Bob, customer-facing dashboards, and document collection and digitization. This is not a shadowing internship. You'll own defined workstreams with measurable outcomes and see your work reach enterprise customers.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain evaluation sets for Ask Bob, collect real customer questions, define expected answers, run evals, and report accuracy trends
• QA dashboards against the underlying data warehouse before they reach customers; log and triage defects
• Analyze how customers actually use the product, query the data, find patterns, write short findings
• Research the competitive landscape (access control, workforce platforms, construction analytics) and produce briefs the sales and product teams can use
• Keep product epics current: acceptance criteria, test cases, edge cases, and status
• Sit in on customer and Customer Success calls; document requests and pain points in a structured way

• End-to-end exposure to how a B2B SaaS + hardware product is scoped, built, tested, and shipped
• Hands-on experience evaluating and improving an LLM-powered product in production
• Direct customer exposure with large general contractors

Who we're looking for
Required

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• Comfortable with SQL, you can write joins and aggregations against a real schema without hand-holding
• Can read a data model and reason about where a number came from
• Write clearly. Your findings will go to engineers, CS, and leadership, and they need to be short and correct
• Organized enough to run multiple workstreams without being chased

Nice to have

• Exposure to LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, or working with model outputs
• Experience with Python for data analysis
• Familiarity with Jira, or similar tools
• Interest in construction, IoT, or physical world products
