To close this gap, we build intelligent solar systems that think and adapt to real world conditions. Every Optivolt panel is designed with an aerospace power electronics brain sealed inside to make solar more powerful and cost effective than ever in any condition.

Optivolt is a team of some of the best builders and doers in the world, drawing from incredible talent pools in aerospace, electrical engineering, design-led organizations. We ultimately will win by designing and building the world’s best solar energy products.

But chiefly important, our organization is a lab for those devoted to solving some of the toughest problems in energy. Everyone is expected to contribute to the mission meaningfully. Clear communication, rapid iteration, and strong work ethic is the floor for anyone on our team.

Whether you're a designer, content creator, storyteller, or creative marketer, we'd like to hear from you.

What you'll do

• Create content worth sharing. Turn product breakthroughs, customer deployments, engineering milestones, and company announcements into compelling stories and content.
• Design exceptional materials. Develop presentations, sales collateral, product one-pagers, case studies, graphics, and other visual assets.
• Build our social presence. Create and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
• Bring our brand to life. Help shape our visual identity and creative direction across digital and physical experiences.
• Expand our website. Develop website content, landing pages, and product storytelling that clearly communicate our technology.
• Capture what we're building. Produce photography, video, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content featuring our team, products, and customers.
• Make our events stand out. Help plan and execute conferences, trade shows, product launches, customer events, and company gatherings.
• Work directly with leadership. Collaborate with the CEO, engineering, and sales teams to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling materials.

What we're looking for

• You have exceptional creative taste. A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design, content, storytelling, or creative work.
• You know how to make things. Hands-on experience creating visual, written, or photo/video content.
• You can communicate complex ideas simply. Strong storytelling instincts and an ability to make technical subjects accessible.
• You take ideas through execution. Ability to independently turn a concept into a polished deliverable.
• You care about the details. High standards for design, writing, and presentation.
• You move quickly. Comfort working across multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
• You take ownership. A proactive, resourceful approach to solving problems and getting work into the world.

Preferred skills

• Brand design, graphic design, and presentation design.
• Content creation, copywriting, and editorial storytelling.
• Social media strategy, content production, and audience growth.
• Photography, videography, and video editing.
• Website design and development using Figma, Webflow, Framer, or similar tools.
• Event production, conferences, trade shows, and product launches.
• Public relations, media relations, and executive communications.
• Experience with hardware, energy, climate tech, or other technical industries.

Additional requirements

• Willingness to work extended hours as needed to support critical milestones
• Everyone at Optivolt is required to participate in on call support for customers

Pay and benefits

Compensation will depend on the position, level, and experience, and will include a generous pre-IPO equity package.
