Founding Engineer/OPs

sqft+ tells homeowners, buyers and property professionals whether an extension or renovation is worth doing before they spend a penny. Our reports combine planning probability scores (built on local authority approval history), itemised build costs by trade, GDV uplift, rental yield impact, projected EPC ratings, comparable sold prices and planning history into a single feasibility verdict.

• Own the day-to-day running of the platform: uptime, monitoring, bug fixes, deployments and incident response.
• Build and maintain data pipelines that pull in and clean UK property data from Land Registry, EPC registers, police.uk, and planning records across hundreds of local authorities.
• Develop and ship the LLM-powered report and conversational layer (Otto), keeping costs, speed and accuracy under control.
• Set up the engineering foundations: CI/CD, error tracking, backups, security and GDPR compliance.
• Integrate payments and support our B2C and B2B products, including agent subscriptions and a future API.
• Work directly with the founder on product decisions, and push back when something is the wrong call.
• Help scope and oversee specialist contractors, such as for our iOS 3D room-scanning feature.
• Help hire and shape the engineering team as we gr
