Senior Full Stack Developer (TypeScript, React, React Native)

Wearton is a personal stylist app. It finds the user's colours from one selfie, keeps their clothes in a digital closet, and says what to wear for the weather and the events of the day. Hooky, our AI stylist, answers questions in a chat. With virtual try-on, users see a piece of clothing on their own photo.

Wearton runs on iPhone and Android, on the web, as a browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and inside ChatGPT and Claude through an MCP server. All clients are one TypeScript codebase that shares code between them.

We are a small product startup. You will work directly with the founder and own features end to end: API, database, web app, browser extension and mobile app.

What you will do

• Build features across the whole stack: from an API route and a database migration on Cloudflare Workers to the React web app, the browser extension and the React Native app.
• Work with LLMs and image models (OpenRouter, Google Vertex AI): prompts, structured JSON output, daily limits and cost per request.
• Write automated tests with every change (Vitest, Jest, Testing Library, Maestro e2e).
• Ship small changes often through GitHub Actions, and keep the API contract and docs up to date.
• Use AI coding agents (Claude Code) every day as part of the workflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial development, mostly in TypeScript / JavaScript
• Strong React, and production experience with React Native (Expo is a plus)
• Backend experience with Node.js or serverless (Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda), REST API design and SQL
• You write automated tests by default
• Experience with LLM APIs in a production product
• English B2 or higher: code, docs and communication are in English

• Consumer apps, fashion or e-commerce
