Technical Founder

At Jobbyo, we're building technology to make the job search faster, smarter, and less painful. Our platform helps professionals find relevant opportunities and automate key parts of their job search, from matching and tailoring applications to sending applications and tracking progress.

We're looking for a hands-on US-based Technical Founder who can help us grow the business by building practical technical solutions across product, growth, and data.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your time writing specifications for someone else to implement. You'll work directly with our founders, identify opportunities, experiment with solutions, write code, integrate tools, and ship things that make a measurable difference.

If you enjoy figuring out how things work, finding creative ways to use AI, and turning business problems into working technology, this could be a great fit.

What you'll do

• Develop features, internal tools, and technical solutions that improve the Jobbyo experience. Build systems that drive growth
• Develop tools and workflows that help us acquire customers more efficiently.
• Use AI, automation, and integrations to improve lead generation, sales operations, and customer acquisition.
• Experiment with new technical approaches, measure the results, and double down on what works. Make better use of data
• Turn data into actionable insights and identify opportunities for improvement.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in software development, engineering, automation, or a related field.
• Strong coding skills and the ability to build and ship working solutions independently.
• Practical experience using AI tools, LLMs, or AI-powered development workflows to solve real problems.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, deployment, and the fundamentals of building reliable software.
• The ability to move between product, growth, and data problems without being limited to a single narrow specialty.
• A proactive, resourceful mindset. You identify problems, figure out solutions, and get things done.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with a founder in a fast-moving startup environment.

We care more about what you can build and the problems you can solve than about having a particular degree or a long list of technologies on your résumé. We'll work together to establish priorities, with a focus on tangible business outcomes rather than activity for its own sake.

What we offer

• $120,000–$150,000 annual salary, depending on experience and fit.
