Company: dBee AI Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Role: Business Development Representative (BDR)
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: Freshers and candidates with 1 year of experience preferred
Compensation: Fixed Salary + Performance-Based Incentives
About dBee
dBee is building voice-first AI agents that help businesses automate their sales and customer operations. Our AI agents can respond to leads, make calls, qualify prospects, book meetings, follow up on WhatsApp and email, and manage customer interactions throughout the sales journey.
dBee helps businesses respond faster, improve follow-ups, automate sales processes, and convert more leads into customers.
About the Role
We are looking for a confident, persuasive, and target-driven Business Development Representative who can generate business opportunities, connect with potential customers, and convert conversations into qualified meetings and clients.
You will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, generating interest in dBee's solutions, booking meetings and demos, following up with prospects, and contributing to client acquisition.
This role requires initiative, strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to work independently toward measurable business development targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and reach out to potential customers through cold calling, LinkedIn, email, and other relevant channels.
Introduce dBee's AI solutions and communicate their business value.
Understand customer requirements and identify potential business opportunities.
Generate leads and qualify prospects based on their needs and suitability.
Schedule meetings and product demos with founders, business owners, managers, and decision-makers.
Follow up with interested prospects and maintain consistent communication.
Handle objections and convince prospects to take the next step.
Coordinate with the sales team to move qualified opportunities toward conversion.
Maintain accurate records of leads, outreach, meetings, follow-ups, and conversions.
Work toward assigned meeting-booking, lead-generation, and client-acquisition targets.
Initial Two-Week Evaluation Period
During the first two weeks, you will be responsible for independently identifying and reaching out to potential customers. Leads will not be provided by the company during this period.
You are expected to schedule at least five qualified business meetings with potential customers interested in exploring dBee's solutions. You will need to demonstrate your ability to prospect, initiate conversations, generate interest, and secure meetings independently.
After the initial two-week period, the company will begin providing leads to support your business development activities, subject to the evaluation process and continuation of the engagement.
First-Month Probationary Period
The first month will be treated as a probationary period during which your communication skills, prospecting ability, meeting-booking performance, follow-up discipline, professionalism, and overall contribution will be evaluated.
Based on your performance during the first month, the company will decide whether to issue a full-time employment confirmation. Continuation in the role and confirmation of employment will depend on satisfactory performance against the expectations communicated by the company.
Compensation & Incentives
The compensation structure will consist of a fixed monthly salary plus performance-based incentives.
Incentives will be linked to successful business development outcomes and client conversions, in accordance with the company's incentive structure. Additional performance incentives may be offered for achieving or exceeding assigned targets.
Your earning potential will increase with your contribution to qualified meetings, sales opportunities, and successful client acquisitions. The applicable fixed salary and incentive terms will be communicated separately before joining.
Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence in approaching and speaking with potential customers.
Persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
Willingness to conduct cold outreach and independently generate opportunities.
Strong follow-up, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet measurable targets.
Interest in business development, B2B sales, SaaS, AI, or technology products.
Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Core Skills
Communication, prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, meeting booking, persuasion, objection handling, negotiation, relationship building, follow-up, and target orientation.
Our Sales Process
Prospect → Reach Out → Qualify → Book Meeting → Follow Up → Convert Client
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of business development, generate opportunities independently, and turn conversations into qualified meetings and paying customers.
