This position will lead and execute VBG Wireline transformation and innovation in the areas of Assisted Sales Quoting, Ordering, Customer Hierarchy, Contract Lifecycle Management, Pricing, and Service Assurance agentic platforms for VBG. The individual must partner cross-functionally with various IT and business units to establish goals, objectives and influence VBG vision and strategy. This person must be creative, independent leader with strategic thinking skills along with strong technical experience. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Verizon Business GTS Sales and Ordering.

• Products & Services Integration: Leading product enablement and business alignment on strategic portfolios of Advanced Communications, Network, IoT, Customer Premise Equipment, Security Services, and Consulting Services across Wireline & Wireless portfolios.
• Agentic AI & Digital Workers: Architecting and operationalizing GenAI-powered agents, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic frameworks to function as digital employees capable of quoting, ordering, orchestration, inventory and service assurance purposes with automated decision-making.
• Multi-Cloud & Data Architecture: Building and scaling data analytics and streaming pipelines across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) to handle real-time customer, partner and employee transactions across CPQ systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with Products, Partner Solutions, Public Sector, Technology Transformation & Integration organizations to translate complex Product, Customer RFPs. and migrations into scalable, production-grade AI solutions.
• MLOps & Governance: Establishing end-to-end MLOps/LLMOps practices, including real-time model monitoring, fine-tuning, security guardrails, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Drive AI Adoption & Implementation: Analyze and map complex enterprise processes to define the logic, constraints, and operational boundaries for agents on the Kairos platform, ensuring maximum consistency, reusability, and speed-to-value.
• Validate, Demo, and Iterate: Lead stakeholder reviews to validate feature alignment against documented requirements, capturing rapid feedback and navigating operational and policy complexity to refine system specifications.
• Program Execution & Delivery: Manage software delivery with both onshore and offshore resource teams and IT vendors. Improve global team productivity and throughput using DevOps methodologies and agile sprints.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or six or more years of work experience.
• 6+ years of technology leadership, including a solid understanding of technology selection, architecture, and full stack implementation.
• 8+ years of Software Engineering and Development experience, including leading IT teams through technology transformation, business analysis and strategic execution. 10+ years of delivery experience in highly available and massively scalable systems and services.
• Eight or more years of relevant experience in Application development, AI/ML engineering, software architecture, and real-time data analytics.
• Experience with Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience building, deploying, and scaling data analytics and AI solutions across cloud environments, specifically AWS and GCP.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Master’s degree Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience with cloud AI ecosystems and frameworks (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, BigQuery, LangChain).
• Understanding of B2B Products, network(4G/5G) protocols, CPQ products (Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Conga etc.)
• Strong production coding capabilities with Python, SQL, Kafka, Spark, and microservice architectures for real-time streaming telemetry.
• Experience implementing MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, security guardrails, and model evaluation standards for autonomous systems.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $137,000.00 - $263,000.00.
