Role Overview
Videris is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive technical execution for a large-scale US Telecom data transformation on Snowflake. This is a 100% hands-on role focused on the implementation and optimization of complex ELT pipelines. You will be responsible for deconstructing legacy business logic from core telecom systems and rebuilding it into a high-performance Medallion architecture.

Key Responsibilities
 Data Integration from Key Systems:
• Integrate data sets from core operational systems, including customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, billing systems, order fulfillment/service provisioning systems, and geographical location master data repositories.
• Incorporate data related to customer demographics, service usage patterns, inventory, order processing workflows, and location-based information.
• Utilize Precise360 pipeline orchestration inputs, job triggers, and scheduling dependencies to ensure efficient data flow and integration.
• Implement data integration requirements provided by product managers.

Data Modeling & Transformation (ELT):
• Integrate data sets from core operational systems, including customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, billing systems, order fulfillment/service provisioning systems, and geographical location master data repositories.
• Incorporate data related to customer demographics, service usage patterns, inventory, order processing workflows, and location-based information.
• Utilize Precise360 pipeline orchestration inputs, job triggers, and scheduling dependencies to ensure efficient data flow and integration.
• Implement data integration requirements provided by product managers.

Pipeline Development & Optimization:
• Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines using Matillion and Fivetran.
• Implement orchestration, monitoring, and governance controls for data delivery, traceability, and quality, utilizing Precise360.
• Apply performance tuning and optimization techniques to ensure efficient data processing.

 Testing & Validation:
• Develop and execute test cases to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across integrated systems.
• Validate semantic layer outputs and data consistency across various data sources.
• Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve data-related issues.
 Deployment & Documentation:
• Deploy data solutions within the client's environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve environmental issues related to data deliverables.
• Document data model modifications, data flows, and transformation logic.
• Provide knowledge transfer to relevant teams.

Qualifications
 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

•  5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data transformation and integration, particularly with data from operational and business support systems.
•  Experience working with data from customer relationship management, billing, order management, and location-based systems, preferably within the telecom industry.
•  Expertise in ELT processes and Medallion architecture.
•  Proficiency with data integration and transformation tools such as Matillion and Fivetran.
•  Experience with orchestration tools such as Precise360.
•  Strong SQL and data transformation skills.
•  Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
•  Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Note: This is a technical, hands-on role focused on implementation and execution, not a managerial position.
