About the Role

We're hiring a Product Designer to own how Kongi looks, feels and works, from the first screen a shopper sees to the moment their order arrives.

You'll design across the iPhone and Android apps, the web shop at kongi.co and the platform brands use to list their products. What you design this week ships within days.

In This Role, You'll

• Design end to end, from the first sketch to the shipped screen: discovery, search, product pages, the bag and checkout.
• Design onboarding and the first order, where new shoppers decide to stay.
• Make earning and spending credit feel simple and trustworthy.
• Grow the design system shared by iOS, Android and the web: type, color, spacing and components.
• Design the moments outside the app: kongi.co, the App Store listing, emails and launches.
• Talk to shoppers, watch how they use Kongi and read the numbers, then turn what you learn into the next design.

About You

• You have 1+ year designing consumer products, with work shipped on iOS, Android or the web.
• Your portfolio shows strong UX and visual design, and how you got from the problem to the solution.
• You're fluent in Figma and prototyping.
• You know Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design and what makes an app feel native.
• You've built or grown a design system.
• You explain your decisions, take feedback well and work closely with engineers.

Nice to Have

• Shopping, marketplace or fintech experience
• Motion design, or prototyping in code
• Brand and marketing design
• You write the words on the screen as carefully as you design it

• Designs that ship every week, built as designed.
• A design system every screen is built from.
• More new shoppers making a first purchase.
• An app shoppers say feels easy and fast.
