About the job
Build software that runs real-world experiences
Envito AI builds AI agents that run events end to end over WhatsApp, Email and Phone: registrations, badges, broadcasts, travel, pickups and live queries. We're 10 months in, with 180+ events and bookings up 11x in the last 5 months, and our agents are in production with real guests at events involving Amazon, IBM and Diageo.

What you will own
• Build and ship full-stack product features using MongoDB, Express.js, React/Next.js and Node.js, from API design to a polished, responsive UI.
• Design reliable backend services, REST APIs, data models and integrations for guest management, real-time messaging, notifications and workflow automation.
• Own production quality: write maintainable code, debug incidents, add tests, monitor performance and improve reliability with every release.
• Work with event-driven flows, webhooks, third-party APIs and asynchronous jobs; handle failures, retries, duplicates and edge cases thoughtfully.
• Collaborate directly with founders and product stakeholders to convert ambiguous problems into simple, useful features and deploy them quickly.
• Improve existing code and architecture as usage grows; spot bottlenecks before they become user-facing problems.
What we’re looking for
• 1–3 years of professional experience building and shipping web applications, with strong hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• Solid working knowledge of Node.js, Express, React (ideally Next.js) and MongoDB, including API design, schema design and database querying.
• Experience taking features from concept to production, debugging with logs and metrics, and owning the result rather than just a ticket.
• Comfort with Git, code reviews, authentication/authorization, validation, error handling and basic security practices.
• Clear problem-solving ability, bias toward action, curiosity and a willingness to learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
Extra points if you have…
• Worked at an early-stage product startup, where speed, resourcefulness and ownership mattered.
• Seen scale firsthand: high traffic, large datasets, bursty workloads, queues, caching, concurrency or production performance tuning.
• Built integrations involving WhatsApp/Meta APIs, webhooks, payment systems, AI/LLM tools or automation platforms
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3), Docker, CI/CD, background workers or observability tools.
This is more than CRUD. You may be solving problems such as ensuring thousands of scheduled guest messages execute reliably, preventing duplicate webhook processing, keeping guest state accurate across many events, making complex operator dashboards feel effortless, or integrating AI agents into predictable product workflows.
You’ll thrive here if…
• You are hungry to grow, ambitious about the quality of your work and energized by hard problems.
• You prefer taking ownership over waiting for detailed instructions; you ask sharp questions and make pragmatic trade-offs.
• You enjoy fast feedback loops, candid collaboration and being accountable for what ships to real users.
• You care equally about execution speed and getting the fundamentals right.
What you can expect
• Meaningful ownership from the start and a direct line between your work and customer impact.
• Close collaboration with the founding team, rapid product iterations and exposure to applied AI, workflows and production infrastructure.
• A high-agency, in-office environment that rewards initiative, thoughtful engineering and continuous learning
