Product Owner

Fintech Futuro is building a financial education and technology platform focused on helping people in Mexico and Latin America understand their finances, get out of debt, and build wealth.

We're looking for a Product Owner to take full ownership of FuturoHoy, our personal finance application.

We want someone who is thinking about how to make the product better, understands our users, and finds new ways to help them organize their finances, reduce debt, and grow their net worth.

We're not looking for someone who simply manages development tasks. We're looking for a strategic, hands-on product leader who makes decisions, proposes improvements, and drives the product forward while working directly with the founder and development team.

*For the right person, this could evolve into a cofounder relationship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Optimize onboarding, activation, user experience, and retention.
• Improve conversion from free users to Premium subscribers.
• Define and prioritize the product roadmap.
• Work directly with developers to execute product improvements.
• Collect user feedback and translate insights into product decisions.
• Research emerging trends and opportunities in fintech and personal finance.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience managing digital products, preferably mobile applications or SaaS platforms.
• Strong UX/UI judgment and understanding of user behavior.
• Ability to work with product metrics, conversion funnels, and retention data.
• Familiarity with analytics tools, experimentation, and artificial intelligence.
• Genuine interest in fintech, financial education, and personal finance.
• Strategic thinking, independence, and a strong bias toward execution.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in taking meaningful ownership of a growing business.
