Reporting to the Manager Network and Infrastructure, this role owns routine desktop and helpdesk support, endpoint setup and administration, user onboarding and offboarding, asset management, and basic troubleshooting across Belmont’s US, UK, and Germany operations. The role works closely with the infrastructure team and external service partners to resolve issues promptly, protect company information, and deliver a consistent user experience.

Core Responsibilities

End User Support

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support by phone, remote session, and in person for Windows laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, printers, conferencing equipment, and standard business applications.
  • Own routine helpdesk ticket intake, triage, communication, resolution, and documentation in line with established service expectations; escalate complex infrastructure, security, application, or vendor issues appropriately.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, remote access, printing, and common collaboration tools.
  • Troubleshoot basic Ethernet, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity issues and complete initial checks of network connections before escalating infrastructure issues.
  • Provide professional, patient support for all employees, including executive support when needed, while maintaining clear communication on status and next steps.

Endpoint and Identity Administration

  • Prepare, deploy, configure, maintain, replace, and retire laptops, mobile devices, and related accessories in accordance with Belmont standards.
  • Support Windows 11 endpoint management through Intune, including enrollment, application deployment, device compliance, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform approved user provisioning, onboarding, offboarding, group membership, and access changes in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, following established procedures and least-privilege controls.
  • Assist with BitLocker recovery, endpoint protection troubleshooting, and other routine security-related support activities; promptly escalate suspected security incidents.

Asset Lifecycle and Workplace Technology

  • Maintain accurate inventory and lifecycle records for laptops, mobile devices, monitors, peripherals, software assignments, and other end-user technology assets.
  • Coordinate equipment orders, shipping, returns, warranty repairs, and replacement devices with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Support meeting rooms, conference-room technology, wireless presentation tools, printers, and other shared workplace technology.
  • Maintain organized stock of standard equipment and ensure new hires and replacement users receive properly configured technology on time.

Operations and Continuous Improvement

  • Create and maintain clear user guides, knowledge articles, support procedures, asset records, and ticket documentation.
  • Identify recurring support issues and recommend improvements to device standards, user training, automation, and support processes.
  • Participate in endpoint refreshes, Microsoft 365 changes, office moves, acquisitions, and other IT projects as assigned.
  • Participate in scheduled support coverage and occasional planned after-hours work for maintenance, deployments, or critical support needs, in accordance with department procedures.
  • Follow Belmont’s policies for security, privacy, acceptable use, asset management, and change control.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a friendly and dependable first point of contact for employee technology support.
  • Work closely with the Manager Network and Infrastructure, the business applications team, Thrive Networks, and other partners to ensure timely handoffs and resolution.
  • Communicate clearly with users and technical colleagues about issue status, required actions, and practical workarounds.
  • Support a global user population across Belmont’s US, UK, and Germany locations, including occasional coordination outside standard local business hours when needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Three or more years of desktop, helpdesk, technical support, or endpoint-administration experience in a business environment.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Entra ID or Azure AD, Intune or comparable endpoint-management tools, Teams, printers, and common collaboration technologies.
  • Experience with device provisioning, laptop lifecycle management, remote support, ticketing systems, and asset inventory practices.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, cybersecurity practices, endpoint protection, and access management.
  • Strong customer-service mindset, organization, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and written and verbal communication skills.

Key Competencies
