DevOps Intern

Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Intern who is interested in learning and gaining hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, version control, and basic deployment automation. The intern will work closely with development and QA teams to support application development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure: Assist with basic infrastructure setup and configuration under the guidance of the DevOps team.
• Containerization: Gain hands-on exposure to Dockerand understand basic containerization concepts.
• Cloud Platforms: Work with AWS or any other cloud platform and gain practical experience with basic cloud services and resources.
• Version Control: Use Git and GitHub for managing source code, configuration files, and collaborating with team members.
• Pipeline Automation: Understand and work with the basics of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Collaboration: Work with development and QA teams to support smooth application development and deployment processes.
• Documentation: Create and maintain basic documentation for processes, configurations, and deployment procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
• Basic understanding of Docker and containerization
• Knowledge of AWS or any one cloud platform
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or a similar language is an advantage
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative environment

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Candidates with academic projects, certifications, or hands-on exposure to DevOps, cloud, or related technologies are encouraged to apply.
