About the job
We are seeking a versatile and strategic Software Architect to lead a dedicated, embedded engineering team for a greenfield initiative at The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC). You will act as a core technical leader supporting the NAOU Supply Chain Product Operating Model, driving discovery, design, and iterative delivery of net-new supply chain software capabilities. You will bridge the gap between engineering and product management, building rapid prototypes, integrating with enterprise systems, and establishing AI-assisted engineering practices across procurement, manufacturing, and order management domains.
Requirements:
- Proven background as a Software Architect, Resident Architect, or Staff/Principal Software Engineer leading cross-functional teams in enterprise supply chain, manufacturing, or e-commerce environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with the Microsoft Azure cloud-native stack and Azure DevOps.
- Strong foundation in full-stack and microservices development (e.g., Java, Spring, or similar robust frameworks), with a proven ability to decouple legacy systems or build greenfield distributed systems from scratch.
- Practical experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Hubs) and data ecosystems (Databricks, Synapse). Experience integrating with major ERP and supply chain systems (SAP, FourKites) is a significant plus.
- Experience working in iterative, product-centric operating models (rather than fixed-deliverable projects), building rapid prototypes and driving measurable KPIs.
- Familiarity with integrating AI capabilities (Copilot, Codex) into the engineering workflow and championing strict automated testing and QA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Architecture & Design: Architect cloud-native, full-stack, microservices, and event-driven systems for the TCCC supply chain domain. Lead the technical design for capabilities across Direct Procurement (BOM accuracy, supplier performance), Manufacturing Operations (OEE, deviation MTTR), and NAOU Order Management.
- Enterprise Integration: Design and implement API-first, event-driven integration patterns with TCCC enterprise systems, including SAP, OTM, and FourKites, utilizing standardized ingestion frameworks.
- Cloud Infrastructure & Data: Drive the technical strategy on Microsoft Azure, utilizing Azure DevOps for CI/CD and the Azure Data ecosystem (Data Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI) for scalable data processing and analytics.
- Product-Centric Engineering Delivery: Collaborate directly with TCCC Product Managers to define and prioritize the backlog. Lead your team in problem framing, building instrumented MVPs, and iteratively developing, testing, deploying, and measuring production increments.
- AI-Assisted Engineering: Establish and apply AI-assisted SDLC practices using approved tools like GitHub Copilot and Codex to accelerate development and improve code quality. Ensure stringent quality engineering practices are embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle
We offer:
- Opportunity to work on bleeding-edge projects
- Work with a highly motivated and dedicated team
- Competitive salary
- Flexible schedule
- Benefits package - medical insurance, sports
- Corporate social events
- Professional development opportunities
- Well-equipped office
