About the role

We are seeking an innovative, hands-on Product Design Lead to join our founding global team. In this pivotal role, you will combine high-level strategic thinking with end-to-end design ownership. Partnering closely with the Product Lead, you will shape the visual and interactive identity of our consumer platform, establishing our design system, driving motion design, and delivering visual-centric experiences from initial concept to launch and continuous iteration.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end design ownership: Lead the design vision and execution for a 2C mobile experience, taking concepts seamlessly from 0-to-1 ideation to launch.
• Design system architecture: Create, build, and scale a modern, componentized design system to elevate product consistency and empower cross-functional teams to ship features faster.
• Rapid prototyping & iterations: Build user-centric interactive prototypes to explore, validate, and iterate on new feature ideas in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Visual identity leadership: Define and execute the foundational design language and craft motion-based interactions for the core home feed and overall mobile application to create rich, immersive user discovery moments.
• Cross-functional collaboration: partner strategically with the Product Lead and engineering teams to translate product goals into delight-driven user experiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product design, visual design, or interaction design, specifically for 2C mobile applications.
• Proven track record leading design vision for consumer products in social, discovery, community, or content ecosystems (0-to-1 experience strongly preferred).
• Exceptional product taste with visual-centric design craft, strong typography, intuitive interaction patterns, and user-driven problem solving.
• Demonstrated capability in ideating and building scalable design systems, visual features, motion graphics, or animated feed components.
• Fluency in rapid prototyping and an innovative yet adaptable mindset that thrives on experimentation, autonomy, and flexibility.
