Software Engineer

Loving Hands Home Healthcare Services LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to help develop, maintain, and improve technology solutions that support our healthcare operations and enhance the experience of our clients, caregivers, and administrative team.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a remote environment and will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an interest in building reliable, user-friendly software.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and internal software systems.

Build features that improve healthcare operations, scheduling, communication, documentation, and administrative workflows.

Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

Troubleshoot software issues and resolve bugs efficiently.

Integrate third-party APIs and technology platforms when needed.

Work with management and operational staff to understand technology requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

Maintain appropriate security and privacy practices when handling healthcare-related information.

Perform testing and quality assurance before releasing new features.

Monitor application performance and address technical issues.

Document software, processes, and technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improvements in development practices.

Stay current with relevant software-development tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Professional experience developing software applications.

Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, or similar.

Experience with web development and databases.

Understanding of APIs, version control, testing, and software-development best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with React, Node.js, Python, or similar modern technologies.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience working with healthcare, home healthcare, scheduling, CRM, or workforce-management systems.

Familiarity with healthcare data privacy and security requirements.

Experience integrating third-party software and APIs.
