Information Technology Project Manager

The IT Project Manager leads technology projects for Paysign's pharmaceutical patient affordability programs, from the client Project Agreement through go-live and handoff. This role owns project plans, schedules, risk tracking, and client communication for assigned projects, and coordinates the internal teams and vendors who deliver the work. Hands-on project management experience in patient affordability or another regulated healthcare setting is required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between manufacturer clients and Paysign internal teams on assigned technology projects.
• Lead development of the Project Agreement, including scope, deliverables, timeline, and roles, and obtain sign-off from the client and Paysign.
• Build and maintain project plans, including milestones, tasks, dependencies, dates, and assigned owners.
• Run team meetings with the Business Analyst, Product, Engineering, Data, Quality Assurance, and Patient Affordability operations, and drive milestones to completion.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks, and work through day-to-day program problems as they come up.
• Work with the Business Analyst on change requests, and update the project plan and timeline once changes are approved.
• Publish status reports on progress, issues, and recommended actions for clients, vendors, and internal leadership, following the Project Sponsor's direction on client messaging.
• Coordinate client demonstrations and user acceptance testing with the Business Analyst, and obtain client sign-off on deliverables.
• Plan go-live and cutover, including readiness reviews, rollback plans, and post-launch support.
• Oversee development of user manuals, training materials, and turnover documentation for handoff to clients and Paysign operations.
• Create project templates and client reports, and submit report specifications to Engineering or Data when new reporting is needed.
• Remain the client's point of contact through the post-launch transition period.
• Escalate schedule risks, unresolved blockers, and client-impacting issues to the Project Sponsor.
• Lead post-project reviews and apply lessons learned to Paysign's implementation process and delivery standards.

Organizational Interactions

• Project Sponsor: Approves major scope and timeline decisions, directs the client communication approach, and resolves issues the Project Manager escalates.
• Business Analyst: Owns requirements, process analysis, and UAT content, and partners with the Project Manager on change requests. The Project Manager runs the schedule and delivery around that work.
• Product, Engineering, Data, and Quality Assurance: Build, test, and release deliverables.
• Patient Affordability Leadership and Operations: Primary business partner. Receives delivered solutions at handoff.
• Client Services: Owns ongoing client relationships and commitments.
• Manufacturer Clients and External Partners: Clients approve project agreements and deliverables. Vendors and other partners supply external resources as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and internal teams
• Presenting to large internal and external audiences
• Understanding of software development, testing, and deployment, including hardware and software installation
• Experience working in an IT compliance environment
• Proficiency with project tracking, documentation, and reporting tools
• Jira and Confluence experience preferred
• Tableau and Tableau Cloud experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Salesforce and Workday preferred
• Familiarity with AWS, MongoDB, and the MERN stack preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field
• Five or more years of IT project management experience in a medium-to-large software, technology, or healthcare environment
• Pharmaceutical patient affordability experience, such as copay assistance, patient support programs, hub services, pharmacy claims, or benefit administration
• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Track record delivering client-facing software implementations
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other PMI certification preferred
• Fintech, payment processing, healthcare technology, or other regulated industry experience preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities/accountabilities.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in an indoor office environment using standard office equipment.
• General office physical requirements include frequent sitting, extensive computer and keyboard use, walking and standing for long periods, and lifting less than 20 pounds.
• Data Privacy: This role handles PHI, PII, confidential client information, and payment data and must follow Paysign privacy and security policies, including incident reporting.

Travel: This position does not normally require overnight travel.

Remote Work: This position is on-site in Henderson, NV, and is not eligible for remote work.
