IT Specialist

We are seeking a dependable, solutions-oriented IT Specialist to support the technology needs of a nonprofit organization and its community programs.

The IT Specialist will provide technical support, maintain hardware and software, troubleshoot connectivity and system issues, support organizational platforms, strengthen cybersecurity, and help staff and participants use technology effectively.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can make technology accessible and understands its role in education, employment, workforce development, youth development, and community empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Provide day-to-day technical support to staff and programs.
• Troubleshoot computers, laptops, tablets, printers, mobile devices, networks, Wi-Fi, email, and connectivity.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain hardware and software.
• Support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, cloud applications, and video-conferencing platforms.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and system access.
• Provide technology support for programs, workshops, events, and community activities.
• Maintain equipment, software, license, and technology asset records.
