We are seeking an experienced Financial Literacy Facilitator / Career Pathways Instructor who can connect financial education to real careers, real assets, and real economic opportunities.
This role will help participants understand and pursue pathways in:
- Financial literacy and wealth-building
- Real estate and property ownership
- Insurance and financial protection
- Entrepreneurship and business ownership
- Employment and career development
- Credit, banking, savings, and investing
- Professional credentials and licensing
Key Responsibilities
- Teach practical financial literacy, including budgeting, credit, debt, banking, saving, investing, taxes, insurance, and wealth-building.
- Help participants understand how credit and financial decisions affect their ability to rent, purchase, invest, and build assets through real estate.
- Introduce legitimate pathways into real estate careers, property ownership, and real-estate entrepreneurship.
- Help young adults understand insurance as both financial protection and a potential career pathway.
- Provide exposure to opportunities to become licensed insurance professionals/agents and understand the responsibilities of policy ownership.
- Connect participants with credentialing, licensing, employment, entrepreneurship, and career opportunities.
- Teach basic business and entrepreneurial finance.
- Develop practical financial and career action plans with participants.
- Use real-world experiences, examples, and interactive instruction.
- Document participant engagement, progress, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with mentors, career coaches, employers, and community partners.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated experience in financial education, financial coaching, banking, insurance, real estate, entrepreneurship, workforce development, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of personal finance and wealth-building.
- Experience working with youth, young adults, or community-based populations.
- Strong facilitation, communication, mentoring, and documentation skills.
- Ability to make complex financial and career concepts practical and understandable.
