Responsibilities
Build and maintain Python and Node.js/NestJS backend services, REST APIs, and internal and external integrations.
Use PostgreSQL for schema design, complex queries, indexing, connection management, and performance tuning.
Support asynchronous workflows, message queues, distributed-system patterns, caching, and cache invalidation.
Carry features through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and iteration.
Containerize and deploy with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines; use logs, dashboards, metrics, and observability tools.
Resolve production failures across APIs, integrations, queues, databases, and multi-service workflows.
Apply authentication, authorization, secrets-handling, and common application-security protections.
Contribute to technical design and architecture, improve code and systems, and collaborate across Engineering, Security, Customer Success, and Product.

Requirements
2-5 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production software.
An engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Production experience with Python and Node.js/NestJS, with strong production depth in at least one and working experience with the other.
