We’re looking for senior software engineers to contribute to an innovative project focused on training and evaluating next-generation AI systems.

You’ll use your real-world software engineering expertise to build challenging environments that test AI models on complex engineering tasks — including debugging, feature development, refactoring, and performance optimization.

No prior AI experience is required. Your software engineering expertise is what matters.

What You'll Do

• Design and build reproducible Reinforcement Learning (RL) environments for software engineering tasks.
• Create realistic coding challenges involving bug fixes, new features, refactoring, and optimization.
• Develop golden/reference solutions that define correct outcomes.
• Work with codebases written in Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Diagnose complex bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Refactor legacy code and improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Document technical reasoning, debugging approaches, and solution decisions.
• Review and validate other engineers’ technical contributions.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent depth of experience.
• Strong expertise in at least one of: Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, system design, and software engineering.
• Experience debugging complex production or large-scale codebases.
• Ability to identify root causes and develop robust solutions.
• Experience with refactoring, optimization, or modernization of existing systems.
• Ability to independently take a technical problem from understanding → implementation → validation.
• Strong written communication and technical documentation skills.
• Curiosity about AI, LLMs, or how AI systems learn is a plus — AI experience is not required.
