Responsibilities
Build custom React.js Gutenberg blocks, plugins, and themes using modern PHP, HTML, and CSS.
Own tickets from requirements to release, make sound decisions, and submit reviewable pull requests with clear summaries, assumptions, and testing.
Translate Figma designs and requirements into polished, responsive features and reusable WordPress components.
Use AI tools daily to accelerate implementation and debugging while critically validating every output.
Apply feedback from senior and lead engineers and collaborate asynchronously in English with distributed teammates.

What You Will Achieve
Ship merged production pull requests within one month and independently own tickets by three months.
Accelerate delivery with AI without lowering quality, earn engineering leads’ trust, and finish with an enterprise-grade portfolio and invitation for future work.
Requirements
Solid agency or consultancy experience delivering large-scale, high-traffic enterprise WordPress projects under demanding deadlines.
Experience across HTML, CSS, modern PHP, JavaScript, Gutenberg, and custom React.js blocks; ElasticPress or ClassifAI experience is a bonus.
Regular, effective use of AI tools, including knowing when to reject their output.
Commitment to best practices, code review, and shipping only code you understand.
Clear written and spoken English, including the ability to explain decisions, assumptions, and tradeoffs.
Based in Latin America and able to thrive in remote, distributed collaboration.
