Role: Full-Stack Developer/Technology Lead

U.S. - Based Real Estate Investment & Private Credit Firm

Location: Remote. Candidates must currently be based in Coimbatore or have strong personal or family roots in Coimbatore and a genuine intention to return there. Candidates based elsewhere will not be considered.

Work Arrangement : Full-time or Part-time, Monday-Friday | Opportunity to transition to Full-time based on performance and mutual fit.

Hours : Approximately 2 - 3 hours of overlap with New York business hours; remaining hours flexible. Greater availability initially preferred.

The Opportunity :

This is not a traditional developer role. We are looking for a highly capable, entrepreneurial full-stack developer to become our first technology hire and work directly with the founder of a growing NYC-based real estate investment and private-credit firm.

You will build our technology platform from the ground up rather than inherit an existing codebase. You will help determine how technology and AI can improve the business, solve problems independently, and eventually build and lead a technology team in India.

What You'll Build :

• Loan & Investment Technology : Origination, underwriting, borrower onboarding, portfolio management, servicing, construction draws and investor reporting

• AI & Automation : AI/LLM applications, document processing, analysis, workflows and reporting

• Data & Business Development : Data collection, scraping, prospecting, lead generation and CRM

• Web & Marketing Technology : Websites, landing pages, SEO, analytics and marketing automation

• Infrastructure : Cloud systems, APIs, integrations, security, email, hosting and internal tools

What We're Looking For :

• 2 - 7 years of experience building production web applications

• Strong full-stack development skills

• Experience with technologies such as Python, Node.js, React/Next.js, SQL and APIs

• Interest or experience in AI/LLM APIs and automation

• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability

• Able to learn unfamiliar technologies independently

• Strong written and spoken English

• Comfortable working directly with a founder and significant autonomy

• Commercially minded and interested in how technology can generate revenue and improve efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience

The Long-Term Opportunity :

This can begin as a part-time role, with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and mutual fit. Initially, you will personally build much of the platform. As the business grows, you will help determine what should be built internally, recruit additional technical resources in India, and eventually lead the firm's technology and AI function.
