About the Role

We are looking for experienced Azure Data Engineers with strong hands-on experience in cloud data engineering, data warehousing, data lakes and modern Azure data services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions and working closely with technical teams, architects and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement scalable Azure data engineering solutions.
• Develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Work with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Triggers and Integration Runtime.
• Develop data processing solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark and Scala.
• Work with Event Hub, Stream Analytics and HDInsight.
• Design and implement Azure data lake and data warehouse solutions.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Implement data security, authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Work with source data access controls and security policies.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders and client teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow SDLC and development best practices.

Must-Have Skills

• 5–15 years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark and/or Scala.
• Strong understanding of Azure data lakes and data warehouse solutions.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Triggers and Integration Runtime.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Azure data security, authentication and authorization.
• Strong SQL and data transformation knowledge.

Good to Have

• Experience with Event Hub / Stream Analytics / HDInsight.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security.
• Experience with hybrid data environments.
• Exposure to cloud migration and modernization projects.

Education

B.E / B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
