Job Description

The Analyst will be dedicated to the firm’s private equity effort and will work directly with the senior investment professionals. The primary focus (80%+ of allocated time) of the Analyst is on deal sourcing, including: (i) direct telephonic outreach to companies, their founders and entrepreneurs and Chief Executives, (ii) attending numerous industry conferences and meetings, (iii) speaking with Key Opinion Leaders, and (iv) conducting primary research in attractive health care verticals for which to invest.

The Analyst’s secondary activities will be in the areas of due diligence, financial modeling, and post-investment work with portfolio companies, as well as participation in various internal firm activities.

Requirements

The position requires superior interpersonal skills, creativity and analytical abilities. Familiarity with sourcing/origination, sales development, accounting and financial modeling as well as an interest in healthcare are a plus. Candidates are expected to have a demonstrated interest in business, have strong research skills and, most importantly, a strong desire to prospect for new investments.

Undergraduate/Graduate applicants with previous internships in Investment Banking, Private Equity, venture capital or Asset Management are encouraged to apply.

Experienced candidates have investment banking backgrounds, prior private equity business development experience, or enterprise sales related experience that translates into investment sourcing. Experience in healthcare is a plus.

A good faith estimate for the total compensation for this position is estimated to be $100K-$200K+, depending on experience and performance. Total compensation includes bonus and incentives.
