About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Linux, Docker, Cloud, (AWS/Azure), scripting, application deployments, and production troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage application deployments, maintenance, upgrades, and day-to-day operations across cloud and containerized environments.
• Administer and maintain Linux/Unix servers and related infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
• Work with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing application and Docker logs, system resources, configurations, networking, and service dependencies.
• Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement, validate, and document appropriate solutions.
• Develop and maintain Bash/Shell scripts for infrastructure automation, deployment, health checks, troubleshooting, and operational tasks.
• Support microservices-based applications and troubleshoot service connectivity, configurations, environment variables, ports, volumes, and dependencies.
• Work with SQL databases and Redis for operational troubleshooting, data validation, and infrastructure support.
• Configure and manage Nginx/Apache and troubleshoot reverse proxy and service connectivity issues.
• Automate repetitive operational activities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, Linux Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux server administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Strong working experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Good knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Strong experience with Docker/container log analysis.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of Redis or similar infrastructure components.
• Good understanding of networking, DNS, ports, HTTP/HTTPS, reverse proxies, and service connectivity.
• Experience configuring and managing Nginx and/or Apache.
• Good understanding of Linux CPU, memory, disk, processes, permissions, filesystems, and system resource troubleshooting.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Ability to independently diagnose issues across application, infrastructure, database, and service dependencies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Exposure to Helm and Kubernetes deployment management.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, or similar monitoring and logging solutions.
• Experience with Python for infrastructure automation and tooling.
• Understanding of Docker, Linux, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience managing multi-tenant or customer-specific cloud/containerized environments.
• Familiarity with incident management, RCA, and preventive actions.
