Construction Project Manager (Northeast Broward County, Florida)

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

A growing commercial construction firm committed to delivering quality projects while building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and team members. We are seeking a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the organizational backbone of multiple construction projects, $5-Million and under in value throughout the United States.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordination, financial management, execution, and successful delivery of commercial projects. This individual will work closely with ownership, operations leadership, superintendents, consultants, and trade partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.

You will lead projects that matter, design-driven, high-expectation, and grounded in quality. The environment is collaborative, growth-oriented, and aligned with professionals who take pride in doing things the right way, every time.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Demonstrated experience and strong track record as a Project Manager with experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract administration, and change management
  • Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners
  • Monitor project costs, commitments, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, permits, and closeout processes
  • Collaborate with field leadership to maintain schedule, quality, safety, and productivity goals
  • Provide proactive communication and leadership throughout all phases of construction
  • Comfortable managing project plans, financials, subcontractors, and schedules while navigating permitting, inspections, and issue resolution with confidence.
  • Strong safety record and working knowledge of compliance standards, 30-hour OSHA certification preferred.
  • Ability to lead field and office coordination and support long-term company goals with integrity and accountability.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with commercial construction
  • Experience delivering multiple commercial, medical facility, hospitality, and/or retail construction projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and project financial management
  • Ability to lead teams while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams

Preferred

  • Commercial construction experience
  • Experience with national or multi-site construction programs
  • Experience with permitting, RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and project closeout documentation
  • Experience with ShareFile and construction management software platforms
  • Experience working with General Contractors, Owners, Developers, or Construction Management firms
