About the job

WHY JOIN ALO?

Mindful movement. It’s at the core of why we do what we do at ALO—it’s our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That’s the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.

OVERVIEW

We're looking for a WMS Integration Lead to own the design, architecture, and implementation of our warehouse management system integrations end-to-end. This person is the technical anchor for how our WMS connects to the rest of the fulfillment ecosystem, 3PL-to-ERP integrations, the orchestration microservices that run within the WMS domain, and the interfaces to automated and robotic systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Architecture & integration ownership

  • Own the design, architecture, and implementation of WMS integrations across the fulfillment ecosystem, including 3PL-to-ERP flows and orchestration microservices within the WMS domain.
  • Design and build integrations and orchestration services between the WMS and automated/robotic warehouse systems
  • Define canonical data models, integration contracts, and clear domain boundaries across OMS, WMS, and ERP, choosing the right synchronous, asynchronous, or event-driven patterns per flow.
  • Build integration platforms and services to scale, engineering for idempotency, reconciliation, observability, resilience, and graceful degradation from the outset.

Delivery & program leadership

  • Lead mid-sized 3PL, WMS, and Distribution initiatives end-to-end, including solution design, project execution, and post-go-live support.
  • Own the 3PL/ Distribution Systems development workstream, including prioritization, CAB participation, and implementation oversight.
  • Lead knowledge transfer, documentation, and discovery efforts to ensure smooth collaboration with Architecture, Development, and Business teams.

Operations & escalation

  • + Act as the primary escalation point for WMS/Distribution integration related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and clear stakeholder communication.
    • Provide operational technology expertise to both Tech and Business functions, eliminating bottlenecks and accelerating delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ information systems, or a related field.
  • 6–8+ years of experience in distribution technology, supply chain systems, or OMS/WMS implementation and support.
  • Strong knowledge of system integrations, and distribution operations processes.
  • Demonstrated success delivering cross-functional technology initiatives and leading change management.
  • Proven experience mentoring technical or functional teams in distribution or logistics technology.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable, efficient solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and coaching team members.
  • Strong domain experience in ecommerce fulfillment and Order Management Systems (OMS).
  • Hands-on experience designing and building microservices and integration software at scale.

  • Solid understanding of integration and messaging patterns, event-driven architectures, queues, idempotency, reconciliation, retries/DLQs, and API vs. EDI/file-based integration.
