TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a iOS Developer

Duration : This is a 12 months contract located in Toronto, Ont /Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home

Job Description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

• Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities: see below
• How much time is being spent in meetings – 3-4 hours per week on average
• Who are they interacting with (internal/external) – internal and external
• Will the contractor have access to any customer data? No

2-week sprints, ceremony meetings, action tickets assigned to them on time, attend other meetings/discussions

MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

1.) 10+ years of experience with Swift programming language, with a good understanding of Objective-C.

2.) 2+ years of hands on expertise in SwiftUI with a focus on adaptive UI design and reusable components

3.) 2+ years of hands on experience in Swift Concurrency (Async/Await, minimum 2 years)

4.) Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive unit tests using XCTest, Swift Testing, and Snapshot tests, ensuring high code reliability and test coverage (minimum 80%)

SOFT SKILLS:

1.) Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

2.) Strong documentation skills

3.) Experience mentoring or leading team members

4.) Detail oriented

NICE-TO-HAVE

1.) Experience of ApplePay and Wallet (PassKit).

2.) Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and workflows, with a focus on automating testing, builds, and deployments.

3.) Scripting skills using Ruby, Python, yaml and Bash for automating repetitive tasks and optimizing development workflows

4.) Banking or financial institution experience
