About the job
We’re looking for an Associate Project Manager with 0–1 year of experience in project management within the e-commerce space. This is a client-facing role, so strong communication, confidence, and the ability to build good working relationships with clients and internal teams are essential.
You’ll work closely with clients, developers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to keep projects organised, on track, and moving towards successful delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate day-to-day execution of e-commerce and web development projects.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and ensure clear, timely communication.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into clear tasks for internal teams.
- Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with Development, Design, and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Follow up on tasks, identify delays or blockers, and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in client calls, discussions, and project reviews.
- Share regular project updates with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Understand e-commerce workflows, website changes, integrations, and basic technical requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, meeting notes, and action items.
- Escalate risks and issues proactively rather than waiting for them to impact timelines.
- Support the team in ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines and expectations.
What We’re Looking For
- 0–1 year of experience in Project Management / Project Coordination, preferably in an **e-commerce or web development environment.
- Prior experience interacting directly with clients or external stakeholders is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with clients, asking questions, clarifying requirements, and giving project updates.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good understanding of project timelines, task management, and delivery processes.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce, websites, and digital products.
- Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong ownership, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time.
- Proactive approach to identifying and communicating blockers.
Good to Have
- Experience working with platforms such as Shopify, Apptile, or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, CMS, and integrations.
- Exposure to project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar.
- Understanding of CRO, user journeys, and website performance would be an advantage.
The Kind of Person We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable talking to clients, understands how e-commerce projects work, follows through on commitments, asks the right questions, and takes ownership of getting things done.
If you communicate well, enjoy working with people, are naturally organised, and like being at the centre of getting a project from “what do we need?” to “it’s live”, this could be a great fit.
